An extension, loft conversion or refurbishment is a big thing to hand over to a stranger. Here's exactly how a project runs with Esquire — who does what at each stage, and what you get back — so there are no unknowns before you pick up the phone.

A look at the job
Jason comes out, walks the property and talks through what you are trying to achieve — including the awkward bits, like whether a wall is load bearing, where the drains run, and whether the idea in your head is the one worth building. There is no charge for that conversation.
What you get at this stage
A no-charge site visit with Jason, straight advice, and a realistic view of what the job involves — including the structural and building control realities of your particular property.

A written, itemised quote
You get the scope in writing: what is included, what is excluded, and what would be priced separately if it comes up. Reviewers describe our pricing as clear and transparent, and that is deliberate — a vague quote is where building jobs go wrong.

A written, itemised quote setting out what is included and what is not, so you can see into the number before anything starts.

The build, in the right order
Groundworks, structure, roof, first fix, plaster, second fix, finishes. The trades are booked to follow one another, the site is left safe and tidy each day, and building control and any inspectors are handled by us rather than by you.

A programme run in the right order by us, with building control liaison and inspection stages handled on your behalf, and the site left safe and tidy each day.

Finished, checked and handed back
We see the job through to the decoration and the making-good, walk it with you, and sort anything on the list. Some of our work comes back round — repeat jobs for the same clients, and projects won on a personal recommendation — which is the only endorsement worth having.
What you get at this stage
A finished room or building rather than a list of snags — decoration and making-good complete, the job walked with you, and an after-service check on loft conversions.
