Builders' promises are cheap and everyone makes the same ones. So each commitment here is tied to something you can check for yourself — a Companies House record, a service we publish, or a sentence a real client wrote on Google.

We have one director, and he is the one who surveys the job, prices it and is on site while it is built. There is no handover to a project manager you meet once, and no chain of command between you and the decision.

You get the scope in writing: what is included, what is excluded, and what would be priced separately if the building throws up something behind the plaster. Anything we find gets shown to you and costed before it is covered back over.

Dates, inspections and paperwork are ours to worry about
We book and hold the programme, and we deal with building control and the inspection stages as part of the job. You should be living in the house, not project-managing it.

One firm across the trades
Building work, roofing, joinery, plastering, tiling, flooring and decorating are ours. Plumbing, gas and electrical elements are carried out by the qualified tradesmen we work with, certificated to whatever each element requires — we will not tell you we hold a certificate we do not hold.

Groundworks, structure, roofing, joinery, plastering, tiling, flooring and decorating are run as a single job — so the trades follow in the right order and nobody is left waiting on someone else's diary.
Jason runs the work
Esquire has one director, and he is the person you meet, the person who prices the job and the person on site. Reviewers name him by name because he is the one they dealt with.

We are based on Stamford New Road and work across Trafford, south Manchester and into Cheshire — close enough to come out, look properly, and be back when you need us.
Where a job needs a structural engineer, an architect or a specialist, we will say so and work alongside yours or bring in one we know. What we will not do is claim a qualification, a certificate or a trade-body membership we do not hold.
