A good extension stops looking like an extension the moment it is finished. The floor levels line up, the ceiling height is right, the new brick or render sits comfortably against the old, and the light lands where you actually sit. Getting there means the footings, the structural openings, the roof, the glazing and the services all being planned as one job.
We build single-storey and two-storey rear and side extensions, and conservatories where that is the right answer for the property. Solid concrete foundations, SIPs panel construction where it suits the design, high-performance insulation, integrated electrics, and PVC or timber windows and doors — specified with you at quote stage so there are no surprises when the glazing arrives.
Foundations, structure and roof as one
We set out and pour solid concrete foundations, form the structural openings and steelwork, and build the roof — pitched, flat or with rooflights — as part of the same programme. Because one firm is responsible for all of it, the junctions between the old building and the new are set out properly at the start rather than patched at the end.
SIPs panels where they earn their place
For some extensions a structural insulated panel system gives you a warmer, tighter, faster-to-erect shell than traditional blockwork. We'll tell you honestly which approach suits your property and your budget rather than defaulting to whichever is easier for us.
Warm, wired and finished
High-performance insulation, the electrics run and terminated by qualified electricians, plastering, flooring and decoration — we hand back a finished room you can move furniture into, not a shell for somebody else to fit out.
Building control and the paperwork
We liaise with your building inspector as the work goes through its stages, so you are not the one chasing sign-offs. One reviewer described exactly that: the liaison with the building inspector was handled by us, not left to them.
